warm (insulated) jacket

warm (insulated) jacket

Postby thehikingcactus » Tue Apr 19, 2022 11:07 am

Hi,

I am looking for a new synthetic jacket which should keep me warm while walking and camping in the evening. Something like the Cirrus jacket by RAB or something similar. I do have the problem that I am a generally small woman with a long back, wide shoulders and hips. So most of the regular sizes won´t fit. I also tried mens jackets but they tend to be not wide enough at the hips.
Maybe someone has an idea for me where I could find a suitable jacket or have any idea what I should/could try else.
Thank you very much.

SportsShoes.com are selling Montane Prismatics (female equivalent of Montane Prism) for 70 quid at the moment too.

Aye, I've been tempted by a prism from SS myself!

Hello,
I walk with a friend who has a similar build - she bought a Fjallraven jacket a couple years ago and she pretty much swears by it now. Higher price tag than a lot of others but she thinks it has been very much worth it. Pretty certain it's called a keb or expedition.
