A further post in our preparations for Glencoe at end of year. We have sorted out meals by freezing dinners in small pots which we hope to defrost as and when needed in tent, and if that means sitting on them so be it! before reheating quick when needed.
The problem is brekkie. By time we have boiled water for cuppas and day flasks, time and gas canisters dissapearing, can anyone recommend best things to take for breakfast, for energy and warmth, in a similar manner to the dinners, that will warm us up inside but heat up double quick...or is it porridge and beans all week?
