It's a decent basic axe with a lightly curved short-ish blade for smooth self arrest and nice big adze for cutting steps or digging a bucket seat in the snow for having your lunch
Good prices can be had too.

I use it and like it. The grip on the shaft makes it easier to hold in an arrest with mitts on for me.
