Leather boot repair

Leather boot repair

Postby rgallie » Wed Jul 12, 2017 11:04 am

Just looking for som advice

I have a pair of leather Berghaus Ridge plus GTX boots.
I have found a small hole (about a quatre of the size of a 1Pence) where the leather joins the sole.

It looks like it has been cause where the boot flexes above the toe section (just below the boot tongue) when walking as the lethere shows signs of cracking right up from the hole accross the top.

Anyone know if this is worth fixing and can be fixed with ease.

Asked the Mrs to take them to an independent shoe repair shop for a quote and just got a message saying there fixed, £3.50.

Worth a shot.

They are my fair weather boots these days anyway
