Leki Micro Vario pole cord jammed

Has anyone experienced this with these poles, unable to fold one pole up as internal cord is stuck.
Can this be repaired or is it redundant

The cord can get twisted over time and then jams. Try untwisting it. The visible cord will get longer if you are twisting it in the right direction. That worked for me.
