Abacus

Abacus

Postby ez162002 » Sat Oct 14, 2017 8:51 am

Hi,

I have been trying to find how to buy/make an abacus for counting distance when I go out walking. I have seen them used by other walkers and it looks like thin rope that they have been made from. Please can anyone help me find one to buy or have instructions on how to make one? Thanks.

Lauren

How about using an old boot lace and some spring toggles?
A pack of 10 toggles is £2.76 on amazon, and you've probably got an old bootlace lying around somewhere for free.
