Waypoints pointing in all directions (limit=50)

Waypoints pointing in all directions (limit=50)

Postby Gerard Horstman » Sun Apr 15, 2018 4:18 pm

I downloaded GPX files to my Garmin Oregon 600 but all waypoints point in straight lines to all directions and makes the routes unusable. When i select "go" it tells me the number of waypoints is limited to 50. :(
What can i do to make the GPX files usable?

Load up fewer than 50 way-points perhaps?

Hello Gerard,

Connect your Garmin to your computer and open Garmin Base Camp (if you don't have the software upload it free from Garmin website)

Open your GPS internal storage and select the road in question, right click on it and select "Create Track From Selected Road"

Voilá :D
