Lined socks

Lined socks

Postby Chris Caldwell » Mon Jan 07, 2019 10:33 pm

I am new to this site so please excuse me if this has come up before. I have a few pairs of lined socks which I love. They have reached the end of their life after many years but I cannot find anything similar. I don't remember who made them and am told that l should just buy a good pair of socks with a separate pair of liner socks. My issue is that I have had such a good experience with lined socks and would love a substitute. Any suggestions?

Yep, and you can get them at GoOutdoors. They're a bit pricey, but my brother's tried cheaper brands and tells me they don't work as well.

I've never had blisters since wearing 1000 mile socks (about 5 years now).

Thanks. I do prefer lined socks and was worried they were no longer available. I'll look those links up. Cheers

I have a pair of lined socks from Aldi, £2.99 and very good. Nowadays I buy liner socks with my normal socks over them. I prefer this when hiking, I can wear both, wear the liner sock only, or just my normal socks. I adapt according to the demands on my feet.
