Tent Inner Carrying

Tent Inner Carrying

Postby malrc » Mon Oct 21, 2019 10:35 am

Hi All,

Quick question. I've been using a combined inner/outer pitch tent for several years and have just bought a NatureHike Mongar 2, which is Inner 1st pitching (or groundsheet/fly 1st, then Inner). We will be splitting the tent between 2 of us for carrying; should we be looking to keep the inner in a dry bag (outer obviously won't be)?

Thanks

I would, not just to protect it from getting soaked but to prevent tieouts etc. getting snagged in the rest of your kit.
