Paramo Medio Gilet do you size up?

To use the Paramo Medio Gilet as an over layer on outside of jacket , should one buy a size up ?

I'm normally an XL, but I took a punt and bought a Medio in L as they had no XL left. It's fine but a pretty snug fit. I think if I had my normal size I'd easily be able to have it over a couple of layers i.e. thin base layer and softshell, if not something thicker.
