The EAST Highland Way - Carrot Soup for the Soul
by sootiecraig » Fri Oct 07, 2011 11:42 am
Well, the East Highland Way lived up to everything we expected of it and more! Managed it in 3 1/2 days finishing at lunchtime on the 4th day, loads of awesome wild camp spots and even more rain......! Ha ha!! Was much more wild than the Speyside way which we continued onto, better scenery too! All in all an excellent walk! Trip report coming soon.......
Thanks for the camp site advice, we camped at an dubh lochan the first night after a very big day and it was perfect! Falls the second night and a meadow above insh somewhere on the third! Apparently the 4th night was spent in Aviemore bunkhouse but i don`t remember that......
