Just finished the whw in an unexpected heat wave and my was it hard going little shade on many days which led to looking like the 3 wise men with wet towels draped over our heads all week. The hardest bit for me personally was just after inversnaid hotel heading towards inverannan ,most of this stage was walking high up beside loch lomond but i found many parts here dangerous and think they whw managment need to try and put some hand rails or i fear there will be an accident as many people on this stage injured themselves. The only time i got to see my surroundings is when i lifted my head and stopped as the paths are pretty awful to walk on you cant really take your eyes of where you are putting your feet which is a shame as you miss looking at the beautiful scenery. All in all a great walk but not for beginners.
