So I have to ask - did you take all 10 OS Explorer maps with you or is there a short cut?
I think I will probably have to buy the maps in order to plan the rout I want to take - at a minimum cost of £60 - and then cut out the bits i need... It feels like a crime.
Are there any alternatives you might recommend or will you sell me the maps you used!!

No way would I take all 10 with me, when on a trip like this weight and bulk is always a priority.
I did as bootsandpaddles did, Alternatively you could print them off from a website like:-
http://wtp2.appspot.com/wheresthepath.htm
I would never cut up my maps...too expensive and I want to use them again.
Which answers your "sell me" question.
as for "all the best for the rest of your walk", I did it all in one go, parts 2 & 3 are on this site also and there are links at the end of each report.
Edit, Opps i just reaalised I am replying to a question from last year, but hopefully you will get just in time for you trip in Easter....hopefully not too late.
