Weaver's Way, although a Long Distance Footpath in its own right, is essentially a 56 mile (83 Km) continuation of the Peddar's Way and North Norfolk Coast Path National Trail from Cromer on the north Norfolk coast to Great Yarmouth.
In the summer months there are a number of B&B opportunities along the route, but many of these close during the winter months. The Ramblers Association - Norfolk Area produce a single A5 guide to all three walks.
Parking is at Felbrigg Hall (free to national trust members) and there are toilet and café facilities on site (although opening hours need to be checked, especially in the winter months.
The route described is a combination of a circular walk with a couple of out-and-back sections suitable for doing in an afternoon. Roads are largely avoided (only about 300m of quiet roads have to be negotiated and the longest stretch has a pedestrian footpath), the route (and café) are dog-friendly but livestock do graze sections of the route, particularly between October and March, so a lead may be needed. This section is well way-marked.
