Well here we go - it's all finalised now.
On 6 May we set off with Michael who is 75 and has dual sensory impairment, on a 210 mile self supported hike across Scotland from Martyrs Bay on Iona to the Martyr's Monument in St Andrews. See what we did there!
Michael can hear with the help of strong hearing aids but is completely blind so he requires the help of a guide every step of the way.
12 fool hardy volunteers have chosen to join us so we have company and support for each stage but would still love to hear from you if you would like to help guide Michael.
The hike is completely self supported so anyone thinking of volunteering must be self sufficient and able to navigate, wild camp and look after themselves. DISCLAIMER ALERT: We do not accept responsibility for anyone who joins this hike!
