NB. This board is for reports on multi-day long distance routes - reports on simply long walks should be added to the standard boards.
Warning Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.

We resumed the walk where we had left off previously, by catching a bus to Alby from Norwich.
Briefly the route goes: Alby, Alby Church; Hanworth Church; east to Gunton Station; Southrepps; Northrepps; Overstrand and then followed the Norfolk Coast Path along the beach to Cromer.
The short stretch north from Gallows Hill is not a right of way. It avoids walking along the A140, however you may be discouraged from following the metalled track. There is an excellent pub in Southrepps, and plenty of refreshment opportunities (including fish and chips) in Cromer.
Caught the bus from Cromer to Norwich (and then walked another 2 kms home).

Distance 16.5 miles 26.5 kms Ascent: +320m.
