My husband and I attempted the WHW over 6 days in May 2018. Here are some details on how long we were walking for each day in the hope that it will help somebody else. First a little information on the walkers and weather conditions:

Days 1-3: 2no. 28yr olds, average to low fitness levels, occasional hill-walkers, warm weather, no rain
Day 4: 2no. 28yr olds, average to low fitness levels, occasional hill-walkers, 1 very grumpy with infected blister, hot weather, no rain
Days 5-6: 1no. 28yr old, average to low fitness level, occasional hill-walker, very hot weather, no rain

Days 1-6: Baggage transfer used, rucksack with essentials carried, walking poles used, accommodation booked for each night within 1 mile of WHW and showers available.

day | route | expct. miles | add. miles | walking time | resting time

1 | Milngavie to Balmaha | 18.0 | 2.0 | 7h 35m | 0h 40m
2 | Balmaha to Inversnaid | 15.5 | 2.8 | 8h 00m | 0h 40m
3 | Inversnaid to Crianlarich | 13.0 | 3.8 | 6h 25m | 1h 15m
4 | Crianlarich to Bridge of Orchy | 12.4 | 3.2 | 5h 30m | 0h 30m
5 | Bridge of Orchy to Kinlochleven | 21.1 | 1.2 | 7h 40m | 0h 40m
6 | Kinlochleven to Fort William | 15.5 | 4.2 | 7h 00m | 0h 20m

Note: "expct. miles" was the distance we were expecting to walk along the WHW route based on Google maps estimates and "add. miles" is the additional distance recorded by my phone which includes walking to/from accommodation and any inaccuracies in the way my phone measures distance.

FYI - we both loved the experience despite my husband ending up in Fort William A&E having chunks of his toe cut off! :D
