Really enjoyed the video Mike.

Walking that distance in the heat can be challenging especially with a blistered toe.

As for cows, I had a hellish experience a couple of years ago on a long distance walk in the south of Scotland so I fully understand your decision to back off and find an alternative route (I stupidly chose to continue through a huge field while being charged by about 20 cows and they were not for backing off so it was a long 10 - 15 minutes and at the end of it I jumped a gate and just sat down for 10 minutes to calm down).

The last few miles looked like a struggle but overall it must have been a brilliant experience.
