Electronic fob/fold-away style key found near Castlelaw Hill earlier today. Appearance suggests dropped very recently.

Hi inca,
I was in the Pentlands on Friday 29th December, just days before the snow thawed.
I started at Harlaw carpark, over to Bonally reservoir and round Castlelaw down to the Fort remains before heading back to Harlaw. Once I got back I realised I had lost my car key.

Its for a Ford. A black plastic key, three button remote with flip out metal key part when the the silver button is pressed - though it doesn't always spring out fully.
It also has a small silver springy loop attachment thing at the bottom end.

Please let me know if this fits the description of the key that you found,

Thanks,
Jammy Jim

Hi JJ,

Description is spot on. Have dropped you a mail here with contact details. Haven't tried to use the site for mail before and it's showing in my 'Outbox' not 'Sent Mail'. But says mail's gone when I click on it. Let me know if there's any problem.

Cheers.
