Lost watch - Inchnadamph approach to Conival

Postby ardann » Tue Jul 03, 2012 3:13 pm

A friend of mine lost his black wristwatch whilst we were walking to Conival / Ben More Assynt from Inchnadamph on 30th June 2012. He probably dropped it where the paths fork near the plantation in Gleann Dubh, South East of Glenbain cottage. I can get more details of make / model if requested, it wasn't a very expensive one, but I'm sure he'd like it back. Thanks. AndrewD, London.

Hi,

A black watch with broken leather strap has been handed in at Inchnadamph Lodge. No guests have claimed it. Do you have further details?

Hello Chris,
thanks for that information. I'll contact my friend and get more details and then call the lodge.
It would be funny if the watch had been handed in at the lodge - we got soaked on our walk out and dried out and had a meal at the lodge afterwards.

Here is a full description of the missing watch, which doesn't match the one handed in to the lodge:

It's a man's Accurist watch, analogue with a second hand, square
white face with silver coloured back and border, no numbers on the
dial just dashes, plus a slim black leather strap.
