Fleece jacket on Derry Cairngorm

Fleece jacket on Derry Cairngorm

Way back on September 22 (a Saturday afternoon) I found a fleece jacket on Derry Cairngorm, quite near the summit. Forgot to post about this at the time, but if anyone is just starting to notice they're feeling chilly and can't quite figure out why - this is the reason. Post an adequate description and I may arrange return.

Me too, it must be a place where they fetch up after drifting through the sky for a while. The one I found was orange, and in 1993. I wore it for years, it fitted just great.

Looks like I may be trying this one on for size. If I'd lost a good fleece I think I'd check a few websites before wandering off to the shops.

Was there a body still inside it when you found it? I heard of a body which lay on Ben Nevis for weeks, when the polis finally got round to bringing it down, it was wearing a different jacket to that which it had originally been wearing! And no boots, of course....

I deny that completely. And he wasn't breathing when I got to him anyway. You can't prove anything.
