Having taken a couple of photos at the top of Ben Vane on Sunday afternoon i set off back down with my 2 dogs , within 1/2 hour I discovered I had lost my phone. A very kind Russian hillwalker, from Strathblane helped me search and climb back up nearly to the top but time was not on my side so we gave up. Next day a couple from Kilmarnock climbed up early and found my found my phone and have returned it to me today. Thank you so much.
