Hi
On the CMD Arete on Sunday 26th March, my (ball shaped) Red Patagonia Down Jacket stuffed into a grey/black dry bag escaped. I was clockwise on CMD Arete, lost it at start of the Arete. It was bouncing down, suspect it got quite a way down if not all the way down.
After completing Nevis I marched back up the glen past the CIC and climbed the snow runnel (with footprints spotted from the CMDA earlier) - at 7PM last evening - hunting for it. Needle in a haystack! Gave up once the snow started to get silly-steep and marched back out. It was a late one yesterday!
If anyone should find it - aye unlikely I know, it looks like a rounded rock! £25 on offer for its return! Will post on UKC too.
Watch out for expensive jackets stuffed into drybags, they roll like a ball - Oh, and use a bright red/etc drybag not one that looks like a rock! Lesson learnt...
