Lost ice axe - An Socach (Braemwar way)
Posted: Sun Dec 22, 2019 2:54 pmLong shot but posting in case anyone comes across a Petzl Summit ice axe (somewhat distinct because it has a fully rubber shaft) which managed to detach itself unknowingly from my bag on Saturday 21 December.
Judging by photos it's either come off as we ascended An Socach from the Baddoch side (via Socach Mor), on the descent south along the contour line on the way to Beinn lutharn Bheag or on the ridge that leads SSW off Beinn lutharn Bheag. Or somewhere in between!
Not expecting much but worth a shot.
