From the leaflet it does look like Scotch Burnet. The only doubt I have is regarding the city centre location (only known in mountain slopes of Cairngorms). It could have hitched a lift from a walker returning to Glasgow I suppose.

Thank you Ben. It does indeed look like it.
Slight doubt about distribution though ie the website suggests Scottish Borders as most northerly location so I'm still not sure

According to Butterfly Conservation it is Six-spot Burnet moth. Confusing because it looks like 5 spots to me.

2nd ID from Buterfly Conservation Scotland now suggests Narrow-bordered Five-spot Burnet Moth as suggested by Ben

It could perhaps be a Cinnabar - they are very similar.
