kestrel rescue

was out walking on a grouse moor last night and came across a kestrel trapped in one of the traps that you see on logs on most grouse moors, it did not look like it was injured and was only catch by a leg. managed to get it out and left it on the ground whilst we continued our walk. checked it on the way back down and it was still there so we wrapped it up in a coat and brought it home with us. sspca came and picked it up from us later.
