Sea Eagle ?

Sea Eagle ?

Postby Bothybob » Tue Jan 15, 2019 11:06 pm

Whilst walkiing around Lochore Meadows Country Park in Fife I saw a huge bird with about 7 ft wing span fly over towards Loch Leven
I am not a "twitcher" but can recognise, eagles. buzzards etc and know that Ospreys are on holiday in Africa at the moment
Only bird of this size would be a Sea Eagle
Any other sightings in that area ?

I heard they have been released up and down the east coast, so one could well be flapping about Fife.

There are often Sea Eagles hanging around Loch Leven so may well have been.
