Well done! I've never seen 2 together and any we try and get photos of hide at other side of river. :roll:

Thanks! We were a bit lucky - we've never been there before and just happened to see them (by the weir I think?).

Wow. Had you had them stuffed!? :lol: They never stick around for me, even when in the canoe. Lovely picture of a lovely pair.

Just brilliant! Like the others, I've never seen them stand still long enough for a pic like this. I'm actually quite surprised that it didn't happen on an occasion when you'd left your camera at home.... :D

A couple of months ago we decided to leave the camera at home for a low-key wander from Leith into Edinburgh. During that walk the squirrels, ducks and other birds of course happened to be just about the tamest we've ever seen, and if we'd had the camera we'd have been able to get some great close-ups.

Since then we've made a habit of taking the camera on every walk, no matter how small! :lol:
