How's your wader id skills?

How's your wader id skills?

Hi, looking for help identifying the small waders at the right-hand edge of this group of Oystercatchers. My best guess is Knot, but looking at images elsewhere the bill on mine looks a bit short.

Photo was taken at Ardmore Point near Helensburgh on the Firth of Clyde. Any help gratefully received.

Expert friend says grey plover - he's been identifying all my Cramond birds for me :)

I was going to say knot in winter plumage, but yep, grey plover seems right. They're very similar, but that short bill and the slightly darker colouring on the back would have me agreeing on the GP.

Keep an eye out for little egret too. No real ID issues. My daughter in Cardross saw one on the coast there towards Ardmore just a few weeks ago.
