RSPB have a great wee visitor centre with a garden thick with vegetation. Corncrake popped up right in front of the car! :D

Excellent photos. I've never seen one yet, but many a time I've been kept awake at night by them when up that way, I don't think they ever go to sleep.

I'm going to Harris in August, anyone know of any corncrake hotspots there?

Superb photos :D I've heard them but not seen them in the Borve and Scarasta areas.

Great pics you really do get the bets ones. I got a corncrake on Skye last year but I only managed a photo of its bum and everyone laughs when I say it is a corncrake. What do you use to get such fab wildlife pics KInley?
