Great photos!!
Was in the Coreens today and we saw about half a dozen lizards, but also the grass was moving just off the path, when there was no wind, and we assumed it was either a snake or slow worm wriggling its way along.

Excellent photos; that's quite a vicious-looking adder!

There seems to be quite a few black Adders in the Cairngorm region - I don't suppose this was near White Bridge by any chance? - I've seen at least two very dark ones there
Kind Regards
