Bird identification help please

I've looked at various photos and think I have an idea but am just not certain (despite the fact that we're members of the RSPB  ). Any ideas about the following photos please ? Thanks :-)

Thanks mal - yes, was thinking buzzard for the first one after looking at photos. The second looks a little different but that may just be due to the light - cheers :)
