Pinemartin on The Cobbler

Pinemartin on The Cobbler

Was trundling up the path this morning about 1040hours and looked up to see a Pinemartin jumping across the path and into the trees around the second switchback after the radio tower fire road. First time I've seen one and I've been up that path more times than I can remember! Way to fast for me to grab my phone for a picture.

Nice to know they are around there. They certainly move fast, I have seen a few up in the Northern Highlands but getting a photo is a different notion entirely. Same with red squirrels.
