Glad to find the short eared owls are back on Papercourt Meadows near the River Wey.

Lovely! They were a much more common sight in the Southern Highlands 40 years ago than they are now. I have seen them around Glen Shee a few times in recent years though.

I heard an owl in Glen Dubh yesterday morning as I was heading up the lower slopes of Benvane!
