Spotted near Loch Brandy in Glen Clova today. Initially thought it was a buzzard (it was about buzzard sized) but flight was very leisurely and tail looks a bit on the long side. Tail doesn't appear to be forked for it to be a red kite. I'm looking through my bird guide, leaning towards maybe one of the harriers?

At a guess I'd go for female Hen Harrier.
