I've been away on Skye for almost a week, and still no guesses. People sometimes raise funds for BOH

That may be the oddest answer to an outdoor quiz I've ever seen ;)

I'm a little surprised at getting this; my answer was somewhat speculative, as most of the references I have seen refer to the Beatson Oncology Centre rather than Hospital.

This one may be little more straightforward: AR - where you would go for upland beer?

Could it be Auld Reekie which is the home of Top Out beer?

Sorry, but not Auld Reekie, the only liquid that comes from this AR is corporation wine.

Auchengaich Reservoir? Or Afton Reservoir? The beer bit has me puzzled though.

Neither correct, and there is a beer connection. Another clue, unusually this AR has a B road across it.

Further clarification, AR is name on OS Landranger sheet, also known as AL. It is reputed to be the home of kelpies.

Then it must be Alemoor Loch.

It's Alemoor Loch (reservoir). I see the beer connection now. And kelpies infest every piece of water as far as I can make out.

Which long defunct SB played a part in our being able to find our way around the hills today?
