Just two pics I took around Hutchinsons Memorial Hut this weekend. We were playing cards and celebrating a great day out when a (#WowSoFit #IShouldWorkOut) woman showed up and decided to pitch her tent outside (must have smelled bad in there
). I took a few pics of the tent getting hit by the gusts in the morning and post them here, saluting her bravery
If someone recognizes the tent feel free to tell her. It was a 1-layer Coleman Ultralight tent.

LOL that was me. It wasn't much the heat, more the 45C indoor sauna experience

What a night that was...think my tent deserves a bravery pin, to have successfully battled the elements (still can't believe it is still in one piece)
Good luck with all your future trips to Scotland (and I will try to arrange sunshine

Just back from a week in the Cairngorms / North West Highlands. I have many pictures to do, but for the time being..

Just moved to a Sony RX100 which has proved its worth, getting me loads of pictures in situations (swirly dusty wind, or a classic August blizzard on Sgor Gaoith) when I wouldn't have changed lenses on another camera.

It's been a while since I posted anything, but I was browsing through some photos of last year's trip to Poolewe and I found this. Taken from somewhere up above Loch Kernsary.

Wow, that looks seriously wet, but I love the Beinn Alligin shot especially!

I have a new perspective on why Glencoe might get called the Glen of Weeping, and it's not all about the massacre this time
I've never seen so much water running off those mountains, was an incredible sight.
Aye, it's been evil weather but that sort of evil weather which is still quite photogenic. Was hoping for a bit more of that rainbow on Beinn Alligin but gaps in the clouds were few and far between alas. Will probably still be my October competition entry despite its shortness, I imagine.
Cheers
