Mutts on Munros

Well done Poppy!

Dave, Bracken is still getting into bother. She got bitten on the muzzle by an adder at the end of Sept up at Derry lodge. She's made a full recovery now thankfully.

The boys are loving the hills, we had them out camping on the Glenshee and White Mounth hills in the summer to get them used to spending long days outdoors but without the hard mileage.

Thanks Ibex and Beanie! 4 springers aren't that much more work than 2, but I certainly wouldn't stretch to 5

Caberfeidh, I'm keeping my eyes open on eBay for one of those grass snow board thingies, or I might end up building a wee chariot!

Jeex an adder, nasty.

Sam walked into a wasp nest a couple of years back and must have been stung several times. He went all lethargic and walked as if in slow motion for about 40 mins before he started to come back.

Mind you he walks like that all the time now, poor old bugger.

Future Mutt on Munro !
This handsome lad is looking for a new home due to elderly owner no longer well enough to walk/care for him.
He is a male Kelpie x Collie....Father working Kelpie, Mother Kelpie x Collie
He is around 7 months old. Had all jabs. Done puppy class. Good with other dogs and children.
Owner had him since 8wks old,he enjoys going to park to meet his doggy friends for a run around off lead.
He is good in the car just goes to sleep but waits to be lifted into car.
He is a constant companion to his elderly owner who sadly has made the decision that after being unwell for 2 weeks leading to dog been stuck in house that she is being unfair to have taken on such a young dog at her late stage in life and no longer can offer him what he needs.
He is a stunning, affectionate, intelligent dog who aims to please his owner.
I would dearly love to take him but I already have 3 dogs and 4 children
If anyone could provide a good home please PM me

Re-naming...
...Growlers on Gorms? No, sounds a bit rude.
...Pooches on Plateaux. Bit better eh?

Alfie on Beinn Bhreac.

Pooch number 4, Bracken (mum) was also in attendance but as ever, all attempts to capture her on camera were futile.

Cheers Spider, that trip was down to your photos from the day before! :D

Lovely pics of future hero Charlie there, your toilet training methods are a bit extreme though Keith!

Here is a very short video (made by my friend Ross) of the "Furries havin Fun on Fraochaidh".
