Not yet. Was a paddling trip! Mind you, there was enough portaging (10km over 9 days) that it probably counts as a hill walk...might get a trip report done soon.

Clues? I started the day in a bothy. At the point the photo was taken, I'd walked about ten miles, pretty much due North the whole way. In about another seven miles I reached a youth hostel, WNW of where this photo was taken. During the course of the day I passed within a km of another three bothies. I'm about two km from a Munro summit, which I'll take as the answer.

Looks like the arctic tundra of the Cairngorm Plateau, so Cairngorm summit nearby?
