Where's the picture ? - Scotland (part 3)

Oops sorry Chris - I had completely forgotten I'd posted this one up, as it was a couple of weeks ago and there have been no guesses!

Clues - I'm south of the Great Glen, on a fairly accessible Munro. It has an unusual name.

I climbed it by an easy and interesting route, but it is more often climbed by the WH route, which allows it to be combined with another Munro.

I found the TRs for the WH route off-putting - boggy, and a lot of re-ascent. I have just checked, and the hill I am on has a "user rating" of only 2.6 on WH, probably because of that boggy route. I thought it was a great hill with superb views.

The first photo is looking north-west, towards a less accessible Munro (summit hidden in the mist I think) which is one of the more remote ones in this area. "Remote" is a relative term, as this area is well served by roads compared to many parts of the Highlands. In the foreground is a non-Munro that is over 3000ft high and marked on many atlases.

The photo of the scarped peak poking out of the mist is looking roughly west. The scarped peak is a popular Munro. In the foreground is another Munro - the one that, on the WH route, is combined with the one I'm standing on.

The longer distance photo is looking slightly north of east. There are several Munro summits in this view including some very well known ones, in the middle of the photo. The solitary conical hill on the left of this photo is another Munro that some people regard as a bit dull, but again, I enjoyed it very much.

Hope that helps!

Thanks. The northern route looks interesting.

I think I was lucky I did it from the south but it was a blisteringly hot day at the end of a dry spell and I don't remember it being boggy. In fact I remember having a refreshing swim in some of the pools of the Allt Riobain to cool down!

I think this one should be fairly easy:

Thank you, FraserHughes.

Where am I here, or what am I looking at, or both?

Cheers, i've never been that far north but the island looked pretty unique so didn't take long to find. Away to source a new picture...
