"Loch with island in the middle" into google, getting just one hit, like in every good movie,
I deduct you are looking at Clisham.

just Kidding, but I really did a map search for islands in Lochs. SInce I started out west, Harris was the first i hit. But everything fitted so well.....that I had a go.

The views were fabulous, the weather extremely fine, just that damn engine is in nearly every image i took that day.....

Right. We only had one week in Scotland, but a friend and myself wanted to visit our square foot of Laphroiag Land on Islay.
The only way to get that into our schedule was to fly in from Oban in the morning and back in the afternoon.
