I have feeling I may have been on it  and think it may be a southerly Donald  but despite looking at it on and off, just can't place it :? - wild guess, anywhere near Dun Law ? - cheers :)

Not there Rockhopper, and not a Donald, but it is in the south of Scotland. A clue:- a historic site, and the year of The Great Fire of London might help, but you need to find the name of the hill.

No, not Turnhouse Hill, but there is a connection to the Battle of Rullion Green.

I really should have got that first time as it is mentioned in The Ribbon of Wildness and I passed that way on my Watershed walk, albeit not Black Law itself but Catstone, Fadden, Craigengar and Henshaw Hill which encircle it.
So keeping with the Watershed what Loch is this? Hint I have passed there very recently.
