Thanks :D I had similar photos taken from Beinn an Eun (minus the snow).

Where will you find this monument? Apologies for the strange angle, but all close-ups revealed the location :lol: :lol:

Apologies for delayed answer, it is indeed the Dunbeath crash site aka the Eagle Rock, where George Duke of Kent died in 1942. We visited the spot last week. We didn't find any parts of the plane itself as all the debris was collected right after the crash, but the exact spot of impact is still visible. A very sombre place to be.

Thanks! Yes crash sites are sombre - my Dad was a pilot in the war so I’m aware of how many died not just in action but through accidents.

Where is this ridge?
