Time for a clue: this crossing is at the start of a burn which is the outflow from a loch, probably one of the shortest burns in Scotland, in just 500m it feeds another loch.

time to get this moving: this is a view of more or less the whole length of the burn referred to above, now just find the name of the loch that feeds the burn, the name of the burn or name the loch in the picture... should be easy.....

Surprised that no-one has had a further try on this, so here is a another clue: just reach for your copy of Pathfinder 515 and you'll find it.

I'm gonna go with Mid Burn between Loch Neldricken and Loch Valley, entirely thanks to your final clue with the map number on it. Mind you, bet not many folk still have an old Pathfinder map for the area, but google gave me a clue on where 515 covered! Looks like a great bit of country, didn't know that bit was there.

That's right, I was coming down from Craignaw to Glen Trool when I took the photos, and one of my favourite parts of Scotland, but hard going at times, over to you, but I'll sign off with a picture of Loch Neldricken from the slopes of Craignaw, you might just spot the fisherman.

Cheers. That last photo is more like the pictures in my head of that area, the previous one looked more like somewhere in the rugged NW!

OK, how about this one?

I think this is the track near Kernsary? - Beinn Airigh Charr in the background?
