Looking up from Glen Coe, towards Am Bodach and "the Chancellor" pinnacle?

Got it in one Tim, well done. I was surprised to get the pic and have it turn out ok since it was taken through the window of the van as we drove past!

Nice photo - yes I have often driven through Glen Coe thinking "This is amazing, I should stop and take photos" but I never do...

Where is this? A bit less dramatic but it is a sizeable hill.

Not there - but not far away either.

The peak is a Munro, but although from this angle it appears isolated, it is in part of a group of Munro-height hills.

One of the Carn Mairg circuit? May be Carn Mairg?

Even closer...

Here's a clue - I think that three Munro summits may actually be visible in this view. The one that appears the highest is in fact the lowest. The other two summits are a faint lump low down on the left, and the little lump just right of the peak.

Another clue is that the photo is from a recent TR of mine.

Then it should be Meall Greigh from entrance to Hermit's cave😉

Both answers are correct. The left hand summit, which is fainter and looks much lower from this angle, is Ben Lawers. The middle peak (which looks like the highest/only one) is Meall Greigh and the bobble to the right of the peak is probably the top of Meall Garbh.

So Caberfeidh has it - by one minute - 2:57pm vs 2:58pm!

Well done both!

To be very pedantic, I think it's actually An Stuc.

To be even more pedantic, I think the lower (993m) top of Meall Greigh is maybe more likely: the top of Meall Garbh ought to be on the left of Meall Greigh from that viewpoint!

That was my guess too because of the shape

I think jmarkb and Grisu are right. I've checked my photos of that day. See this one, which was taken only half a mile away on the shore of Loch Tay
IMG_6768.JPG

Ben Lawers is in the shot: the other hills are out of shot, a long way to the right.

So it An Stuc, not Ben Lawers, that is almost in line with Meall Greigh and peeping out above its left-hand slopes.

Impressive detective work Grisu and jmarkb! As for me, I need some brandy in my morning coffee after that....
