 correct.

I was stood on the SW side of Ben Vane looking back across at Beinn Ime after camping in/at(?) Lag Uaine - a great spot.

Over to you...

The bothy being the mysteriously named Abyssinia. From an articel in Grough, it appears it was once called Beinncariche.

A change of weather and altitude for this one.

The man who lived there had been to Abyssinia (Ethiopia) when he was in the army. When he returned he talked of the wonders of Abyssinia so much that folk referred to him and his home by that name. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Expedition_to_Abyssinia

Hope you all haven't got lost in Abysinia. I am going to be away for a few days (hopefully off grid too) so just to narrow the area down a bit , this photo was taken north of Inverness but you probably guessed that already!

No, not Balnakiel Bay. A bit more of a journey and a walk to get to, for all but a handful of folk.
