Where's this? (Quite an easy one again, I fear, but I like the view :D )

Seems I've gone from the sublime to the ridiculous...

Clue: very VERY well known hills just off the pic to the right...

Could it be looking down from the Carneddau (Pen yr Helgi Du?) onto the eastern end of the Ogwen valley? - Gallt y Ogof on the far right, Moel Siabod in the middle?

What is making me unsure is the dark hill above and right of Siabod (if that’s what it is). Looks like Cadair Idris - but the visibility must have been exceptional. Perhaps that hill is Arenig Fawr?

Yep, that's it. And just a bit further round to the right and you'd see Tryfan.

I think the hills in the background are probably the Ffestiniog hills?

Well, the dictionary definition is "a natural elevation of the Earth's surface smaller than a mountain"
Other than that I haven't a clue. 😁

Good point! I should have said “what is the name of the distant hill?”

If I look in the dictionary, will it define mountain as is "a natural elevation of the Earth's surface bigger than a hill” ?

Here's one

'a natural elevation of the earth's surface rising more or less abruptly to a summit, and attaining an altitude greater than that of a hill, usually greater than 2,000 feet (610 meters)"

As you surmised. 😄

Extra clue: I’m at an altitude of over 3,000 feet. The hill I’m looking at is much smaller - if it were in Scotland, it would be classified I think as a Graham.

Looking from the south ridge of Yr Wyddfa, a little above where the Watkin Path meets the ridge crest.

Over to you!
