I think it comes down from Red Pike. I remember seeing it when staying at the Youth Hostel in Buttermere!

Here's one. A photo I took from my tent with the early morning mist starting to lift a bit!
What is the name of that body of water?
(Bonus: Where is the photo taken from?)

Excellent! Spot on! That was prob the best place I've ever pitched (in the Lakes, not Scotland!), Seathwaite Tarn on one side, Levers Water on the other.

Cheers, took a little map work but the island and pointy-out-bit are distinctive.

Where was I?

The Secret Harbour on the left is a key feature of this island in literary form.

I'm going to guess wildly (no pun intended) at Wild Cat Island - I'm assuming it's somewhere famous if you think we'll know it!

(Aha - I was trying to post before the clue!)

Ah, but technically Wild Cat Island is an imaginary one, so which island is the Secret Harbour supposed to be based on?
