Does the ridge "play waltzing Matilda"? :) You're somewhere in Upper Wasdale near Lingmell Beck, I reckon.

The dale below is better known than the hills above.

Hey, ewe...?

I only really know one dale, so I'll start with Aye Gill Pike although it seems to be lacking in cloud!

Not there. In fact quite a bit further south.

OK, I admit its a bit difficult from the photos. The valley name is probably the easiest thing to get. So, a clue and another image, from in the dale below.

"Certain birds sound like they might live in holes here."

Good enough! It is Dovedale. Not sure about Masson HIll, the only one I know is near Matlock Bath, but it may well be one of the rounded lumps. We'd walked up out of Dovedale to the east at The Nabs, and the photo is looking back above this area from near Bostern Grange, before we carried on south and finished with Thorpe Cloud.

All yours...

Dovedale yes Masson Hill no, way out  . Maybe Bunster Hill.

Anyway, apologies as I have no unused hill pictures. Where is this bucolic river scene?

Maybe a little help is needed. A little yellow car caused a stir here.
