This corrie has no name on OS maps but it is the upper part of a long glen. An yes, there is a plane crash site here somewhere...

Doesn't look quite right, but are you at (Allt) Bealach an Fhiodha on Beinn a Ghlo', between Carn nan Gabhar/ Airgiod Bheinn and Braigh Coire Chruinn-bhalgain?

No, sorry...
You are on the right side of the A9, but too far south.

Clue: Photo was taken facing due north, close to a Munro summit. This Munro is a part of a popular group of four, usually bagged together.

Could this be the corrie at the head of Glen Callater, near Tolmount? And the crash site would be a Fairey Swordfish?

Spot on!

The Swordfish crash site wasn't easy to find but it was worth the hassle :D

Thanks Black Panther!

The shallow corrie on the right is nameless, so just give the general location

Not there, although by coincidence, the day after I took this photo, I climbed Ben Starav

Clue: the walk along the skyline ridge (centre and left) has a name that is also associated with a well-known 20th century politician.

Extra clue: Labour leader, but was never PM. He was born in the village that gives its name to the circular walk.
